Given over 35 years of in-depth experience with tenant alteration work by Steve Smith, Stephen Perry Smith Architects have specialized in Tenant Improvement design since their inception. Tenant Improvement work starts with the ability to collectively program the space with the tenant through space planning to efficiently address both the current and future needs of the tenant. Upon lease execution, the timely development of construction documents that are complete in scope are critical to ensure a painless move. Stephen Perry Smith Architects also provide interior design services in conjunction with strategic alliances with specialty vendors that enables the firm to effectively be a single source provider to both tenants and landlords.
Stephen Perry Smith Architects has extensive experience in providing Tenant Improvement work either as a landlord provided service or directly for tenants. Having served as the in-house architect and construction manager in the development of approximately 3 million square feet of space for Trammell Crow Company during the 80's, Steve Smith developed a deep foundation from which to build the firm on. This in-depth experience has translated into ongoing tenant improvement work for firms such as NAI/MLG, Liberty Property Trust, Jones Lang LaSalle, Somerset Properties, and Colliers International. While the list of tenants is too numerous to list, some examples are provided and references are available upon request.
